In public relations, there is a term used called CSR cooperate social responsibility. This implies the contribution and growth a company gives back to the environment where it operates, some help with road tiling, water drilling, security, and many others.
Our social responsibility as Christians is established in the scripture, and there is a laid down example by Jesus. No wonder anywhere he (Jesus) went he was doing good, he healed the leaper and when the crippled saw him they started jumping.
As Christians, we are Christ-like and we have a great social responsibility in our homes, society, community, town, work, city, office, position, post, and anywhere we found ourselves even on public buses, we must let others see Jesus in you, in your deed, talks, ways, sense of judgment, sense of humor, dialogue business transactions, family affairs e.t.c
The book of Colossians 3:22 Bondservants, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and it should be a social responsibility a Christian should hold on to.
