BIBLE READING: PROVERBS 9:7-8.
TEXT: PROVERBS 12:1.
REFERENCE: PROVERBS 12:15-17, MATHEW 5:1-7, GALATIANS 6:1-3, 2 TIMOTHY 3:1-5.
SCRIPTURE:
Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.
MESSAGE.
Brethren, this is one of the strong reasons why the kingdom of God cannot be compared to any other place in life be it classroom of study, gathering of the elites, associate of the lawyers etc because is a place of building the right moral in human for a better life and last social transformation etc.
Definition of the terms is very important in every message, it is essential to avoid misunderstanding and misconception etc, correction is simply means one correcting one to avoid error or help someone to do the right through instructions and guidance.
Insult is using an abusive word or action against someone, this is not right and not acceptable from anybody be it from leader to the followers or from followers to the leader, on no cause must you making insulting a fellow an act or way to go to correct an unwanted situation or bringing reality to a place of manifestation etc.
God is the only one person that cannot be corrected, he outgrown error of both the earth and heaven, a perfect God indeed, there is no error in his decision or actions at any point in time.
He is a perfect God, his word and action testified of his perfect personality but there is no man that outgrown correction which is why this subject is very important and must not be overlooked.
Talking about correction, there are many things to considered in this very simple but sensitive adjective, there is nobody that has outgrown correction but one must be careful to do it or act it to harm or pull others down.
Anybody that is in the position of correcting other must be careful and consider the important elements around it to avoid error that soiled the good in the mud.
There is principle to be adopted to avoid being harm during the act, you cannot correct in ignorance of the personality and expect a good result in your life, this can cause one to turn a friend a sudden enemy if the situation is handled in an ignorant or in a selfish manner.
You must endeavor to correct one in love not in anger to avoid unwantedness within the circle of the situation or thereafter.
For instance, correcting fellow ministers of God on the altar during the service where the saints that are ignorance of right character and behaviour is wrong and can cause image and character damage of such concern individuals.
You must learn and know how to caution one from doing wrong or going the wrong way in life in a better way, be careful of spreading the wrong of any individual to avoid unnecessary rift from the person you thought you are correcting.
There are principles to apply when the issue of corrections arises at any gathering be it organization or church, calling the individual such concern personally and caution such individuals to avoid further errors is very good and acceptable.
Don’t use the boss principle of corrections on anybody, you will simply lose the person to error, or such will be counted among your unknown adversaries.
The boss principle of corrections is likening to an insult or pulling others down because of one word or error committed by such individuals.
