SCRIPTURE:
Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
MESSAGE.
Discipline means correction which has two side to it, it can result in beating that child which has to do with the details of instructions such mismanage against the rightness and supposed expectations.
Discipline also can come in terms of using moral word and experience to shape the child for expected correction and will.
There is no how a responsible and God fearing parent must overlooked the importance of discipline in the life of the children, no matter how fragile such child is, such must understand what is right through upbringing of the parents and teachers at school and bend into SUCH for a better and promising life is very essential on the side of the child which must be helped and sometimes forced by the responsible parents to the child or children.
You cannot do without serious discipline of children in this generation regardless of what you see others doing to their children, children without proper upbringing, culture and moral training cannot and will not fulfill purpose of God in their life.
I read in one of the online dailies that the ministry of education is writing to stop discipline in the community school, it is not a welcome development and will not advance the life of the children positively in any way.
No matter the explanation the writer is given such is not going to work positively or shape moral training in the life of the decay and vulnerable children in the environment.
There are many teenagers in the community secondary schools who need to be seriously under disciplinary instructor or teacher, as you meant want to call it for a better life because their life has totally been shifted from morality to extreme devaluation of it.
Why would a parent that wants to be rewarded and blessed will not train their children or overlook the necessary in the name of modernization or constitutional order of the government, it is not going to be a good result for such parents in any sphere of life.
A child was scolded by her mother and the child went behind and called the cops for the arrest of the mother, and when the policemen came and knocked at the door and the senior officer asked if the mother is the one that called the police and she no, and immediately the child said he was the one that called the cops because the mother beat him, and the mother responded that she beat him because of his nonchalant attitude toward his academic and training at home.
The age senior officer was so responsible and called the child aside and gave him undiluted instructions that must be followed as to his mother training and if he failed and the information got it him, it will be a very hard time for him to bear because of the discipline this will bring upon him, he was also told to apologize to the mother and to the police officer for disturbing them because of his self-cause.
This generation is terribly in mess because of untrained numbers of children in the community and streets of the nation, need emergency moral upbringing.

4. Oh Lord, reactivate proper morality in every home for the successful life of all children in Jesus name.
