SCRIPTURE:
And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.
MESSAGE.
Singing in the church as a chorister is ministry that has its own reward and advantage and must add value to the life of the people of God, it is a ministry that has the power to drag souls of men out of hell and abomination of life when the people in the ministry of department of the church are in tone with God in their conduct.
You as a choir is not to sing to impress the church but to please the lord which will be converted to saving soul pill in the realm of the spirit in the heart of men and bring the lost back to the feet of the lord through it.
It is not right and biblically acceptable when the chorister is replicating the world in the church like step and dance of Herodias’s daughter, it the world that meant to replicate the church for the salvation of their souls not the church to the world.
Herodias who was a wife to Herod’s brother, the man died, and she agreed to marry the king, and this was done which is abominable to God and against sanity among humanity, this was what the servant of God preached against that made Herodía have an evil imagination and plan against him.
The king knows quite alright that the John, the Baptist was saying nothing but true and he doesn’t have the courage to end the relationship which later end John in the dungeon of the palace under the authority of the king. Your ministry and her conduct must not end the life of man reactivate godliness through it.
The king celebrated his birthday and was pleased by the ungodly dance of Herodias daughter and promised what he cannot reversed, the head of the priest was cut and put in the tray for her, what will she used the head she requested her daughter to asked for from the king for.
The choir in the church are meant and conditions to be under the inspiration of Holy Spirit and act in accordance to the will of God for life to be touch life positively not for the souls to be drift out of the presence of God through Delilah kind of life, Herodia habit, dressing and characteristics.
It is an insult to yourself being a choir today and go into the world to be a hip-hop artist because that will bring money quickly you thought and destruction of morality in the society generally.
There are testimonies of some people today who are once a choir but today a worldly artist who are seriously influencing the society wrongly and ungodly to the detrimental of destiny and reprogramming the society wrongly.
The inspiration of your ministry as a choir and song writer must be from the Holy Spirit and to the glory of God, which must be proportional to your dressing and disposition.
There is more to gain being a worker in the vineyard of God by holding spiritual principles in high esteem.
