TEXT: 2 CHRONICLES 18:16.
REFERENCE: JEREMIAH 33:1-12, 1 KINGSS 17:11-20, EZEKIEL 37:1-15.
SCRIPTURE:
Then he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return therefore every man to his house in peace.
MESSAGE.
It is the nature of Christian to know the mind of God on an issue and no going by one self way to avoid errors or running against the will of God in one’s life.
You cannot see an Israelites who is not particular about the voice and will of God on a cause or situation of his or her life.
This is necessary and must not be missed or misinterpreted against the very advantage such have over the life and step of a person in life.
King Jehoshaphat exemplified the nature of a true Israelites when he asked his friend King Ahab, if there is still a prophet to enquire the mind of God from to know whether to embark on the war or not.
Knowing the mind of God over an issue is very important and safe for the children of God at every point in time, it will prevent one to run against error that can destroy or silent the existence of a person.
Thee king was not ascertained of going with King Ahab to Ramath Gilead based on the chorus prophecy of the prophets in the palace of the king.
King Jehoshaphat was eventually saved from the war and his friend died according to the message he ignored from the Lord through Prophet Micaiah.
Ignoring God word and order is very dangerous and has a way of condemning one in the face of challenge and adversary in life.
The priests are all ambassador of God and they have their function in their office category, the prophet in the midst of the children of God are likening to an eyes that see beyond now and present situation of the gathering and life of the children of God.
There is no prophet or prophetess that speak otherwise leading the children of God astray that will not be punished by God in the way of God, it is a powerful and sacred office that compulsory the privilege individual to say nothing but the truth.
When you are not seeing anything, you are not to formulate anything or begin to be speaking your mind to the church to confuse and push numerous away from divine reality of God in the name of prophecy.
As a child of God, you must test everything with the word of God and you must also be spiritually responsible for you not to run into unforeseen error through prophecy or human crafted direction.
It is beautiful when God is leading you but you must be sure it is God leading you in that message or prophecy.
There is different between when a man of God prophecy to the people of God, when a parent prophecy into the life of children or a child, when husband prophecy into the life of his wife or wife prophecy into the life of her husband to God speaking to His people or a person.
