SCRIPTURE:
Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.
MESSAGE.
As a mother and father you must be very careful among your children for you not to bring unnecessary rift among them because of your character.
There are parents today who are not careful enough and some overlook the consequence their irresponsible character can initiate into the midst of their children, Jacob gave birth to Joseph at the old age and he was highly obsessed by it.
There is nothing wrong for parent to loved a child among the children but such parents must be highly careful not to be like Jacob showing it among his children to the extent that the children knew he loved Joseph more than anyone of them.
There is no how you want to explain to the children that you are right to your own opinion, you as a mother or father, it is wrong by loving a child among your children and showing it with all the parental capacity and authority you possessed over them, you are simply setting the children against themselves evilly.
This was simply an attitude of Jacob to Joseph among his children which draw a dangerous line among the children and set the young man against his brothers.
It is wrong for siblings to hate themselves for this will avert and distrup progress among them in the family and this must be carefully avoided, Jacob couldn’t manage the affair among his children wisely to avoid unforgettable events that almost took the life of Joseph on the radar of fulfilment of purpose and its will be a great unfortunate thing if this happen for they will all suffer the pain and none will be known today but devil that set their eyes to see the wrong and fault of the parents to orchestrated this will no allowed them to see the disadvantages of their evil decisions over their brother.
Buying a good clothes for your children should not be a trap or a way of inviting evil into your family and loving your children equally must also be manage with the wisdom of God in your life as a parents.
To some parents who are ignorantly bold to their wrong decision as regard show favouritism among their children, learn from the mistake of Jacob that almost cost the destiny and bring about sudden death to Joseph among his brenthen.
Where are your other children, some are not around among your children but very comfortable because the one you cherish and show to them you loved more is around, they know but decided to be quiet, unknowing you are igniting the cain’s principle among your children because of your wrongness as a parent.
