BIBLE READING: ISAIAH 26:8-18.
TEXT: 2 PETER 3:8.
REFERENCE: 2 PETER 3:8-9, PROVERBS 19:2-26, ECCLESIASTES 3:11.
SCRIPTURE:
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
MESSAGE.
Why are you in hurry to get things achieved, why are you in hurry in every of your decision and opinion on issue as regards others and yourself.
There are countless lessons from the life of the people who want to get everything achieved in their way at their set time inrespective of what is against their opinion and decision.
You want to marry at the same time with your friend, there is nothing wrong about you getting married because it is one of the important things you are ordained to achieve in the way of God in your life at the set time of God in your life not in your way or time.
Marrying that person is not the problem but not considering the time in relation to the will of God in your life is the problem, God’s timing is very important for there are things to be achieved before this decision could be established and manifest.
There are numerous individuals today who are serious in pain of marrying without considering the will of God for their life, you cannot do things outside the divine will of God in your life and expect his blessing there at the same time, his timing and testimony walk proportionally in the life of a saints, testimony of God is not possible when his will is against his timing in your life.
You finished your secondary school at the same time with your friends, this does not imply that you will be admitted into university at the same time even if some of your contemporary gain admission into the university of their choice at the instant, this doesn’t mean you will not further your education, and it is dangerous to force issue because of your desire.
A young boy was told through a word of knowledge that he should defiled an admission he just gotten to his choice of university with the same course he intended to study but he overlooked the given instructions and proceeded on the admissions, started attending the lectures, nothing happened in the first semester and he begin to look at the instructions as invalid.
But on one fateful day during his second semester in his first year, he was going to the lecture room from his house and he got to the school gate and was hit by straight bullet and he died immediately.
This is a death that was reversed by the word of God but was not held to because of self choice against the will of God that caused his destiny to be truncated.
Why are you in hurry to be promoted, what do you want to do in that position, if it is the will of God for you to be there, his vision and objective of the place will be well established in your life before you will be well positioned by God without anything antagonizing it.
There are Thousands of people today are in a position that is not the will of God for their life because such is in hurry to achieve greatness and fame that is not the will of God for his or her life.
Huriness can cause untimely death, failure to get to a place of divine manifestation of God glory, endangering of life and health, insecure life etc.

2. Oh Lord, destroy delay of the devil in my quest to life and purpose in Jesus name.
